About Audiobook Formats & Editions
A library edition comes in an attractive, full-sized, durable plastic case, with full-color art. Snap-in holders for the cassettes and for MP3-CDs and plastic sleeves for compact discs keep them protected and in numerical order. Cassette packages measure approximately 7"w x 10"h x 1.25"d. Compact disc packages measure approximately 7"w x 6.5"h x 1.25"d. MP3-CD packages measure approximately 5.25"w x 7.5"h x 0.5"d.
A retail edition comes in an attractive, compact cardboard box shrink-wrapped, with full-color art. Cassettes or compact discs are stored snuggly inside the re-closable package. Cassette packages measure approximately 4"w x 6.5"h x 2.5"d and compact disc packages approximately 5.5"w x 5"h x 2"d.

CD Care and Protection
A CD's data is read from the underside of the disk. If the protective coating on the bottom of the disk becomes scratched through dust or fingerprints, it can interfere with your player's ability to read the data, causing the disk to skip or stop playing. To prevent scratches, avoid touching the disk's underside. Hold the disk from the outer edges, and keep it face down when placing it on a hard surface. To clean a CD, use a soft cloth lightly moistened with CD cleaning fluid or ethyl alcohol. Wipe from the central hole to the outer edge, never in circles. Cleaning your CD player periodically will also help prevent dust from building up. Keep your CD away from strong magnetic fields, such as those generated by computer monitors, TVs, or microwaves, as these magnetic fields can interfere with the stored magnetic data. Avoid leaving your disk exposed to extremes of temperature and humidity.
